For students starting in Year 7 in 2012

Purpose:

  • A supported transition to Darfield High School in order to provide learning continuity and reduce anxiety.

  • Provide useful and timely information to and from contributing schools and families.

  • Build familiarity of culture and processes of Darfield High School.

 Out of Zone Enrolments Due  2nd August  
 School Visits  29 August - 2 September  Introduce DHS and the transition process, prospectus
 delivered.
 Open Evening  15 September 6.30 pm  For families and students to find out about some of the
 culture and opportunities of the school.
 In Zone Enrolments Due  16 September  Information about which students will be attending.
 DHS Staff Visit Schools  Early November  
 Transition Day  30 November  Introduction to the school for Year 7 new entrants.
