For students starting in 2013

Purpose:

  • A supported transition to Darfield High School in order to provide learning continuity and reduce anxiety.

  • Provide useful and timely information to and from contributing schools and families.

  • Build familiarity of culture and processes of Darfield High School.

 Out of Zone Enrolments Due  30th July 2012  
 School Visits to Year 6 students  27th August - 31st August  Introduce DHS and the transition process, prospectus
 delivered.
 Open Evening  13 September 2012 6.30 pm  For families and students to find out about some of the
 culture and opportunities of the school.
 In Zone Enrolments Due  14 September  Information about which students will be attending.
 DHS Staff Visit Schools  Early November  
 Transition Day 6th December  Introduction to the school for Year 7 new entrants.
 First Day for Year 7 Students  29th Jan 2013  Induction Day
