   Parents' Teachers' and Students' Association

Our PTSA meets once a month, usually on the third Tuesday, in the Staff Room.  Meetings start at 7:45pm and normally take an hour.  We welcome anyone on a casual basis or who may be keen to join.

Our role as a PTSA is to:

  • to provide a link between the young people, parents/caregivers and the school
  • to bring parents/caregivers and teachers to gether in social or informative activities
  • to help in raising funds to provide improved facilities and opportunities for members of the school community
  • to encourage greater family involvement in the school

Our major fundraising centres around the sale of Entertainment Books, and catering for the Kirwee Show in November each year.  We occasionally provide catering for other activities.  We cater for most school functions such as the Formal and Parent Information Evenings.  There is no requirement to be able to cook, just a willingness to help out and follow directions!
