Saturday – just received confirmation of strikes as detailed below
The PPTA has CONFIRMED strike actions.
Teachers who are PPTA members will not teach students in the following years on the days below:
Tuesday 14th October 2025: Years 7 and 9
Wednesday 15th October: Years 8 and 10
Thursday 16th October: Years 11 and 12
Friday 17th October: Year 13
Thursday 23rd October 2025 (8.30-4.30pm): No students will be taught be PPTA members
Wednesday 29th October: Ban on all extra-curricular participation by PPTA Members.
Wednesday 5th November: Half day full strike (1.15pm – 3.15pm).
We acknowledge that these strikes will be disruptive. Please be considerate of our teachers – all of whom will be very worried about the impact of these actions – as they are locked into a challenging national battle to decide how education is resourced.
Students who cannot safely be at home may be able to be supervised at school (please let us know in advance if you need to take that option). All students should use their time wisely at home to work on existing assignments and take this opportunity for revision.
