What is PB4L?
PB4L Stands for Positive Behaviour for Learning.
It is a framework that allows for teaching social and behavioural skills. It believes that opportunities for learning and achievement increase if:
- the school environment is positive and supportive
- expectations are consistently clear
- students are consistently taught expected behaviours
- expected behaviours are consistently acknowledged
- inappropriate behaviours are consistently responded to in a fair and equitable way
Purpose Statement:
Living our DHS values and creating an environment where students can become the best version of themselves. Positive kaiako and ākonga relationships and consistent expectations lead to better learning.
My Mahi Rewards System
- 20 points in any value – Dean’s Box
- 50 points in a single value – Electronic Values Badge and second chance draw for prezzy card.
- 50 points in EACH of our 4 values – certificate and badge
- Second chance drawer – each term, lunch shout with Mr England
