Terms One and Two
Using the school’s indoor climbing wall and outdoor natural rock formations. This module includes a three-day expedition.
Each term, a three-day tramp is completed, based in and around Arthur’s Pass.
A comprehensive river crossing course is completed using the Waimakariri River.
Basic mountain biking skills are taught throughout Term 2. Students build on their skills, completing a three-day mountain bike expedition from Lake Taylor to Oxford.
Terms Three and Four
Weekly, half-day, mid-week programme for Term Three, including coaching from beginners to racers. Weekend passes are available.
